Like I said. She is going to find trouble when she’s older. [Stubborn, clever. A flirt considering who her parents were. And now her Godmother. The littler girl was going to be a maneater and perhaps even a lady killer. She turned away from the bassinet long enough to see the offer and take it the best she could without causing the child in her arms to wake.] Emilie~ Sweet little Emilie. Whether she grows up to be sweet is something to yet be seen.
Ahh… perhaps so, mon cher. I shall treasure these moments to the fullest if she does become such trouble. *Irene may just be right. With the family Emilie has, she might just be the complete epitome of them all. Voltaire sat on the bed to join his seated friend; she quite the vision with her Goddaughter in her arms, he admired.* I have every high hope that she will. Her fathers are gentlemen, after all~.
Wait until she get’s older, I’m sure she’ll find her way into trouble then. [She only let go of his hand once they had entered his room. She walked to the side of the bassinet, glancing back long enough to catch his smile.] For someone so small I didn’t think she would need to sleep for so long. [She reached into the bassinet to gently pick up the child and to hold her in her arms.] She is the sweetest thing. What did you name her?
The girl might end up having the best of all of us, I fear. *And by the best, he meant the worse. Of course, it was usually the worse that were better, in his opinion. She already had signs of being a stubborn one like her fathers.* Oh, non, she does not sleep for too long… believe me, she truly does not. *Voltaire admitted with a strained chuckle before making haste to offer a chair to the woman as she held her Goddaughter.* After my divine Emilie, Giacomo thought it suited her well… as do I.
[She let out a soft chuckle as he kissed her hands. At the mention of another she grinned at her companion before pulling him closer to her by their linked hands.]
My delightful Goddaughter I believe. [Or will be delightful. But she doubted that her assumption about the child was incorrect.]
Your Goddaughter has not given us much trouble than necessary, luckily. *Voltaire released one of Irene’s hands so he may properly guide her towards his bedroom where the innocent child slept. He gestured to the bassinet, offering Irene an encouraging smile.* She has slept enough, perhaps bound to wake; it is about time she feed. And I would love for her to meet her Godmother.
misireneadler replied to your post: [She comes from behind, wrapping her arms around…
[Her chin rested on his shoulder, smiling.] Then we must remedy that my dear~
I am delighted to have you as my guest always, mon cher~. *The elder of the pair enjoyed the embrace from this woman he held to such high regards. Voltaire untangled himself from Irene’s arms, but was quick to keep their hands on each other by grasping her dainty hands, gentle kisses greeting both of them.* I am afraid there is someone you have yet to meet, am I correct?

*Voltaire was completely welcoming of the surprise embrace, certainly by the vision whom embraced him.* Irene! Dearest Irene, why, I have been lacking you. Far too much than I would admit.

Tumblr Crushes:
Perhaps, love~ But how sad that you use the past tense. I would think that if you were as great as you imply than this talent would extend into the present.
Any effect can be had in the heat of the moment, my darling~
Past tense is the proper usage in this situation, is it not? As it stands, I’ve yet to physically spank either of you.
I could rectify that if you’d like~.
*The only response from this reclining poet was a scoff. Anymore of this and Voltaire was sure to be overwhelmed should this escalate and even more oddly aroused. How does that saying go? The quieter one is, the prettier they are? Well, Francois has every of staying silent and seated.*

Because I doubt that you’ve done this as much as I have, love~ Nor with quite the same affect.
Oh, but I have.. I simply keep those tales to myself when not scrawled onto the pages left in my study.
And believe me, I’ve had a greater effect on my partners than you could ever imagine~.
*Well, to be fair, both had a grand affect on this philosopher; Giacomo does have an upper hand, though. Irene, however, is the only woman Voltaire finds himself by far attracted to currently. Ah well, best to stay silent. Just going to casually sit there and look pretty while these two talk it out. Heavens.* …
